• Karl Christian Baumann was the CEO of Norsk Hummer for several years, developing their operations and the food chain for feeding grounds for lobster. This involved the development of lobster hatcheries and pledges for EU funding for further development of the industry. Prior to this, he worked as a partner and consultant for the oil industry (for customers such as Statoil, Gassco and Genesis).
• Karl Christian Baumann took an engineering degree in mechanical engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
